Glenys has a Degree in Nutrition from the University of Surrey and a Masters in Sport and Exercise Science (Physiology) from the University of Chichester. Following this Glenys then combined her passion for nutrition with a desire to improve health and performance through natural methods by completing a PhD in Nutrition, Health and Performance.
Glenys has a keen interest in the fields of nutrition translation and communication science. Glenys has acted as a Nutritionist and Science Advisor for the media on numerous occasions, she lectures to a wide range of audiences from lay/public to academic and professional, and has papers published on a wide range of nutrition and activity issues.
Glenys provides independent, authoritative information on nutrition and health topics to the media, academics, industry and health care professionals, as well as to the public through her work in Nutrition & Health Communications. Glenys also co-ordinates and supports HNR staff in their Knowledge Exchange & Transfer and Public Engagement activities.
