This group is led by Dr Susan Jebb and is part of the Diet & Population Health Department.
The Dietary Interventions Team, led by Dr Susan Jebb, examines dietary factors that influence the prevention and treatment of obesity and related cardiovascular risk. We identify and evaluate interventions that have the potential to reduce overweight and obesity through changes in dietary habits, and examine the biological and behavioural mechanisms by which these changes occur.

A specialist Communications Team focus on the translation of nutrition and health research for policy and practice, and the communication of this research to the next stage user. This involves engaging with policymakers, healthcare professionals, academics, industry, the media and the public. The team also supports researchers at HNR in communicating their research to as wide an audience as possible, so as to influence knowledge, policy and practice.
